Exceptional career opportunity for an experienced senior Sales professional to join as Sales Director for an Amsterdam based Energy Trading Platform company, which is scaling from a team of 40 FTE, to 60 FTE.
The opportunity
The Sales Director will further support growth, report to the CEO and develop an effective international sales organization, levering direct sales as well as partnerships and strengthen the company as a leader in the industry with targeted marketing.
Your responsibilities:
- Hire, train & lead an international sales team. Build a Sales function.
- Set sales targets and compensation scheme and support the team in achieving them.
- Implement and validate marketing measures.
- Review and continuously develop pricing strategy, offerings and legal sales framework.
- Negotiate customer and partnering agreements.
- Continuously develop and implement effective sales controlling.
- Develop and maintain the CRM platform, HubSpot.
- Lead from the front, with a hand-on mentality.
Role requirements & what you bring on the table:
- Proven Enterprise Sales and Team Management experience.
- Strong people leadership skills & experience in building and leading international sales teams.
- Mentality of taking ownership, proven ability to build and manage teams.
- Customer centric attitude, strong interpersonal skills.
- Fluent and excellent command of English (written and spoken) including presentation skills. Fluent in German and Dutch language a plus.
