Exceptional opportunity for a Head of Sales & Marketing professional to join an Enterprise SaaS Smart Energy company based in Vienna. The company established in 2016 is well capitalized and scaling from a team of 20 to 40 FTE this year. The new Head of Sales & Marketing will develop an effective international sales organization, levering direct sales as well as partnerships and strengthen their position as technology leader in their industry with targeted marketing.
Responsibilities
- Hire, train & lead an international sales team.
- Set sales targets and compensation scheme and support the team in achieving them with a ‘hands on’ mentality.
- Choose, implement and validate marketing measures.
- Review and continuously develop pricing strategy, offerings and legal sales framework.
- Negotiate customer and partnering agreements.
- Continuously develop and implement effective sales controlling.
- Collaborate closely with the Customer Success & Product Development teams to ensure optimal ‘end-to-end’ customer journey.
Necessary career experience:
- Minimum 3 years B2B Sales Management experience.
- Strong people leadership skills & experience in building and leading international sales teams.
- Good understanding and ability to review and negotiate technical contracts.
- Mentality of taking ownership and proven ability to build organizations and processes.
- Customer centric attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Full Fluency and excellent command of English (written and spoken) including presentation skills.
Ideal career experience:
- Start-up / scale up company experience.
- SaaS sales experience.
- Experience within the energy industry, in particular power producing (or trading) companies,
- Experience working both with sales, indirect sales and partner sales.
- Flexible attitude regarding travel and working across different time zones.
- Technical degree and / or good technical understanding / IT knowledge.
- Experience within the hydropower industry.
- Fluency in German or other languages useful to our target areas.
