We have been retained by our Munich based GeoServices client to search for an experienced and hands on Head of Sales professional to drive scalable sales of both their standard products and also highly customized cloud based solutions which require deep customer engagement. You will build up an international sales team (currently a sales team of 3) to accelerate international growth. To build and manage key accounts, to manage business development / sales department (inbound as well as outbound). You will be responsible for recruiting, goal setting, motivation, coaching and training. The role is to define, standardize & optimize sales and key account processes, Sales controlling: Sales cycle, Customer lifetime value, Churn-rate. To define and implement an international sales strategy and maximise cross selling opportunities.
Strong outbound sales with intense usage of all means of digital marketing will be crucial for success. Our client has a huge portfolio of innovative products and access to the worldwide market. Therefore the sales professional needs to have a good understanding of GIS and at best also about Remote Sensing. A strong interaction with the technical team required to manage expectations.
Head of Sales Requirements:
• You must have GIS expertise and ideally Remote Sensing experience from an Enterprise Sales background
• Head of Sales or CSO or Sales Director career experience of at least 2-5 years
• Experience in hiring, motivating and managing (ideally multi-national) teams • Extensive training & coaching skills.
